MACMILLAN nurses have been presented with a donation in memory of Wendy Pringle, who was able to remain at home in Midhurst with her husband John thanks to the care of the Midhurst Macmillan service.
The donation was presented after a memorial service for Mrs Pringle in Midhurst, during which the money was raised.
Mr Pringle said: “The Midhurst Macmillan service allowed my wife to remain at home and receive palliative care rather than going into hospital or a hospice.
“I cannot stress how important this service is. The Macmillan nurses were amazing and Wendy was well looked-after. I am so grateful for the support we received and I am delighted people have been so generous.”
