Steam giants of Brede are inaction again on Saturday

There will be another chance to view Brede’s giant steam engines when the monthly Open Day takes place at Brede Waterworks on Saturday August 2.

The event runs from 10am - 4pm. Admission is free and there is adequate free parking. Refreshments will be available.

The waterworks are in the Brede Valley and signposted from the A28 at the top of Brede Hill by St Georges Church.

The Victorian steam engines were once used to draw water from beneath the valley floor and have been lovingly restored by Brede Steam Engine Society.
