The Stedham Squirrels have been on another trip, this time with a festive twist.
Nursery manager Gemma Gabler said: “We have been out on another outing with Stedham Squirrels and wanted to share our experience with the community.
“The squirrels took an outing to pick their very own Christmas tree for the classroom.
“We all went to Wylds Christmas tree farm in Liss, where the children enjoyed a ride through the Christmas trees on a tractor and trailer.
“While at the farm, they chose a tree from among all the trees growing, and they picked one which they felt was the best on the farm.
“They watched as their tree was cut down then wrapped so they could bring it back to the playgroup.
“This trip allowed the children to gain a true understanding of where a real Christmas tree is grown before being cut down.
“It also gave them a great Christmas experience that will stay with them forever.
“It’s always great to share our experience with everyone.”
The group takes regular outings, the previous one to Midhurst fire station.
