WORK to improve facilities at a village hall is making good progress.
The first stage of the refurbishment of Tangmere Village Centre is almost finished, and will feature a new kitchen and serving hatches to both halls.
This part of the project will also include additional storage space and a much-needed repaint.
Future work will include providing double glazed windows and improving the insulation for the building.
The work has been paid for thanks to Section 106 contributions which were a result of the Blenheim Park development. When finished the new facilities will provide a boost to the village.
