Information at the Arun Leisure Centre event included facts about the council's housing repairs contractor and its housing allocation policy.

Workshops on gas safety in the home and energy saving also featured with sessions from Age Concern and Arun Lifeline.

The conference gave those who went along the chance to have their say in how the council runs its housing service for 4,000 tenants and leaseholders.

The conference was organised by Arun's tenant participation officer, Karen Crewes. Cllr Robin Brown, the district councillor in charge of housing, said the feedback had been positive.
