Test your knowledge at West Meads Hall to raise surgery funds

THERE is still time to get your thinking caps on for a special charity quiz night being held in Bognor this month.

Taking place at West Meads Hall on Saturday, October 11 at 7.30pm there is a cash prize of 60 up for grabs to the winning team.

Anyone wishing to make up a team of a maximum of six people, with of course an appropriate name, is welcome to join in the fun.

The event '“ the first of its kind '“ is in aid of Friends of West Mead Surgery, FOWMS, which was set up earlier this year to provide equipment for patients, not normally funded by the NHS.

Tickets priced at only 8 include a glass of wine and ploughman's supper. For tickets phone West Meads Surgery on 01243 837980 or Jane Castleton on 01243 827997.

Later on this month FOWMS will be holding a talk on back pain. Bad backs, aches and pains, twinges, stiff and sore backs and how to look after your back and what can go wrong are all under the microscope, courtesy of sports specialist and osteopath Dr John Tanning from The Oving Clinic.

The talk at West Meads Surgery on Thursday, October 30 at 7pm is free with a donation requested for refreshments on the evening. For tickets, call West Meads Surgery on 01243 837980.
