Thieves steal stock worth up to £100,000 from Eastbourne jewellers

Officers were called to Ernest Jones, in the Arndale Centre, at around 1.13am following a report from a member of staff about the break in.
Police say the thieves smashed the front window of the store before taking stock with an estimated value of between £50,000 and £100,000.

Hide AdPolice would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, in particular three men who appeared to be wearing bright coloured ski jackets and scarves covering their faces.
Arndale Centre Manager Bill Plumridge said, “We are liaising with Sussex Police and giving them our full co-operation. We have handed over all our CCTV footage in the hope that this may assist in the early apprehension of the gang.
“Thankfully, no security staff or members of the public were injured in this raid.”
