Tough going for Seaford college runners

PUPILS, staff and parents from Walled Garden West at Seaford College put themselves to a gruelling test for charity.

They completed a 10k run through Queen Elizabeth Country as part of their continued fundraising for Marie Curie.

“Conditions were pretty treacherous out on the course,” said housemaster Matthew Pitteway, “and one of our boys - Hugo Wilson - ended up having to go to A&E afterwards having fallen over and grazed his arm quite badly.

“Munroe Graham, who only started running seriously this term, in year 12, came second overall which was a terrific achievement. We have now raised nearly £600 for this great cause.”
