Drivers face M27 delays after collision
Drivers heading west out of the county on the M27 have faced major delays for several hours today (Monday October 24) following a road traffic collision.
Highways England said three lanes of the M27 were shut eastbound between junctions 11 and 12 because of a collision in which a refuse vehicle overturned.
Emergency services were alerted at around 10.50am.
Four people were in the lorry. Three suffered minor injuries, one more serious but not life-threatening.
Lanes 2 and 3 have been closed for recovery of the lorry which has taken time due to fuel leakage.
Lane 1 and the hard shoulder were open for traffic to get past.
A crane was brought in to pull the lorry upright.
