UPDATE: Long delays on M27 after lorry ends up on its side

A lorry flipped on to its side on a main route west out of Sussex this afternoon (Friday February 12).

There were major delays and long queues on the M27 eastbound between junction 11, A27 (Fareham) and junction 2, M275 (Portsmouth).

Two lanes were shut as recovery work took place.

No-one was injured in the incident.

The area has now been cleared and the lanes re-opened.
