She passed away in the hospital on Tuesday (October 21), a police spokesperson said.

A red Toyota Yaris driven by Ms Cove was involved in a collision with a green Jaguar XF at about 3.20pm.

The Jaguar was driven by a 52-year-old man from Milton Keynes, who was accompanied by his wife, 50, and son, 24.

His wife suffered chest injuries and he and his son slight injuries. They were treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
