Road closed after car and tractor collision near Cowfold
Two people were taken to hospital after a car and a tractor were involved in a collision on the A272 east of Cowfold on Friday October 3.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 1pm. Two people had been released from their vehicles before the arrival of West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and were taken to hospital by paramedics.
The road was closed by police as firefighters stemmed a diesel leak from the tractor.
The 50-litre spillage was made safe by firefighters using Environment Agency equipment and farm machinery.
The incident was left with police.
