UPDATE: Four-year-old suffers head and abdominal pain in Horsham collision

A four-year-old girl suffered head and abdominal pain after a collision with a car in Horsham yesterday (Monday March 23).

She was taken to East Surrey Hospital but is not believed to have been seriously hurt.

Sussex Air Ambulance attended the scene of the incident, but a spokesperson said the girl had ‘no injury’.

Police added she was conscious at the scene.

Emergency services were called to Blackbridge Lane at around 3.40pm, and closed Blackbridge Lane while dealing with the incident.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “The car involved had left the scene and enquiries are being made to trace it.”
