Trio arrested of suspicion of Littlehampton burglary

THREE men have been arrested after a break-in at a house in Littlehampton, last Wednesday (January 13).

The home, in Manning Road, was broken into at around midday and a valuable rare coin collection was stolen as well as a set war medals. These items were within a safe that was also stolen.

Four warrants were executed at a properties across Bognor Regis. Three men, a 33-year-old and two 25-year-olds, were arrested following the police raids.

The 33-year-old has been bailed until April 13 and the two 25-year-olds until April 11 and 12 while investigations continue.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Scullion said: “Make sure your homes are always secure with doors and windows locked. Don’t make it easy for burglars to break in.”

Police are now appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in Manning Road, last Wednesday or has seen a discarded safe, to call them on 101, quoting serial 0810 of 13/2, or to ring independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
