Two car collision closes A286 at Fernhurst

THE main A286 road was closed at Fernhurst for three hours last night (Wednesday, February 3) after a two car collision.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on the A286 close to the Kings Arms pub at 6.15pm.

A Landrover Evoque and a Renault Laguna had collided.

One of the drivers suffered a fractured shoulder.

A police spokesman said the road was closed until 9.15pm for the vehicles to be removed.
