UPDATE: Lorry hits railway bridge
A village road was blocked after a lorry crashed into a railway bridge this morning (January 3).
Police said the vehicle struck a bridge next to Amberley station, along the B2139 New Barn Road, at about 10am.
No-one was injured in the crash.
The road was blocked while the lorry was removed and Network Rail assessed the damage to the bridge.
The incident caused delays in both directions along the road.
