UPDATE: Police appeal for witnesses to Selsey High Street collision

Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was injured in a collision in Selsey High Street earlier today (October 15).

The collision, involving a mobility scooter and a lorry, took place around 10.30am near the Crown public house.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Although the air ambulance was in attendance, the female driver of the scooter, who is in her 80s, was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester by road.

“She is currently being treated for injuries to her head and ankle.

Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.”

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 or email [email protected] quoting serial 393 of 15/10.
