UPDATE: Road clear after car ends up in ditch off A27 Chichester

Police say the A27 around Chichester is now clear after a car left the road and ended up in a ditch.

The incident happened around 2pm today (August 26), on the A27 near the Fishbourne Roundabout at Chichester.

It led to some minor delays up to the Stockbridge Roundabout but traffic has now cleared (2.45pm).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police were called just after 2.05pm on Wednesday, August 26, following a report a silver Ford Focus was in the ditch on the A27 just outside Chichester by Fishbourne.”

It is not believed anyone was injured in the incident.
