UPDATE: Roads reopen following Goodwood crash

Roads around Goodwood have just reopened following this morning's serious crash.

A number of roads including Pook Lane and Chalk Pit Lane had been closed off since the collision happened shortly before 6am on Kennel Hill, close to one of the main entrances to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

A Sussex Police spokesman said all the roads had just been reopened shortly after 12pm.

A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after being in collision with a vehicle.

There is currently no update on the motorcyclist’s condition.

Traffic is extremely heavy right across the Chichester area with people still making their way to the Festival of Speed.
