VIDEO: Littlehampton and Arundel firefighters join county rescue drill

FIREFIGHTERS from Littlehampton and Arundel joined crews from across West Sussex to take part in a rescue drill.

Dozens of people were evacuated from Fitzleet House in Bognor Regis, to test firefighting procedures at the 15-storey tower block in the town centre.

The Littlehampton and Arundel crews were among 50 firefighter taking part from across West Sussex.

Watch Manager at Bognor Regis Fire Station, Ian Paine, said: "Everything was authentic up until the moment firefighters would usually turn on the hoses."
