Player of the match Sadie Wilson-Blakely reflected on her goalkeeping heroics for Chi City Ladies against Liverpool - and said the match had been an experience to cherish.
The City stopper excelled herself to keep out a number of Reds efforts and said the whole team had enjoyed playing in front of a crowd of 1,300.
Wilson-Blakely said: “Usually coming out of a game like that you would take 3-0 but I honestly think we could have pushed them a bit more. There were bits in the game, especially in the first ten minutes, where we pushed them. I’m a bit disappointed we didn’t capitalise on that.”
