Visit to Neverland

Children at Battle Abbey Prep School joined thousands of youngsters throughout the country in The Big Time Rhyme for Peter Pan Day.

The event was organised by Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children to smash the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people reading aloud simultaneously in multiple venues.

Pupils read aloud the verse "To the Top" from Peter Pan, and Scarlet by Geraldine McCaughrean, to help raise vital funds for a new renal unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Head Teacher Judy Clark said: "Working closely with children every day we appreciate the importance of the amazing work that Great Ormond Street Hospital does and were delighted to take part in this fund-raising venture".
