‘Vulnerable woman’ raped in Horsham

Police said the woman, in her 30s, was drinking in a Horsham pub on Sunday July 12 but left at about 9.30pm that evening with two men.

They added one of the men - who were both described as white, with Irish accents and said they were brothers - then raped her behind the Sainsbury’s store in Worthing Road.

Detective Constable Karrie Bohanna said: “The victim is very upset about what happened to her and we are supporting her as we try to find the man responsible.

“The CCTV footage was recorded in the area and shows two people that we need to trace and speak to. They could have vital information that would help the investigation.

“If you have any idea who they are or where they could be, please contact us.”
