War medals from the first and second world wars were among the items stolen from a house near Milland.
The items were taken some time between Monday, April 22, and early on Wednesday, April 24, Sussex Police announced today.
A 1914-18 Star and a General Service medal, a 1939-45 General Service Medal and a 1956 Suez campaign medal among the possessions stolen from the property.
Detective constable Jon Berisford said: “The medals have a great family sentimental value for the victims. Anyone with information about this burglary, or with knowledge of where the medals may be offered for sale, is asked to contact us on 101 quoting Serial 1378 of 24/04.
