Weather whingers? Not here. Cheerful Bexhill enjoys a rare snow day in pictures

Sure-of-foot Observer photographer Steve Hunnisett took to the slopes around Galley Hill to capture snowfights, sledging and sunsets.

If you were among the townsfolk hitting the slopes around Galley Hill you might find yourself in this mini-gallery of pictures gathered from yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

While parts of the Scottish Highlands dropped to beneath -20 degrees last night, the early morning sunshine will find even more parents schoolchildren than yesterday enjoying a rare tobogganing trip.

If you have good pictures of the snow, why not send them to the Observer at [email protected]? Readers photos will be mounted into a web gallery.
