“We also believe that when you are growing up, you need to be offered a rich variety of experiences so that whatever it is, you can find interests that ignite your passion for exploration.”
With the generous support of parents and carers through the Friends of School Association (FOSA), the school has introduced iPads to the classrooms, to help with learning.
“At the heart of our thriving village school are the relationships with our children, their parents and the wider community,” said Mr Rose.

To ignite pupils’ passion for learning, specialist experts including authors, artists and scientists have dropped by to work with children in the school and add real depth to their learning.
Mr Rose said: “Multi award-winning children’s author Emily Gravett inspired our youngest writers and most recently our Arts Workshop day gave opportunities for children to work in ceramics, textiles and paper sculpture. This has since led to the growth of an after-school craft club.”
