Witnesses sought to BMW crash in Bognor Regis

Police are appealing for witnesses to crash near Bognor Regis which left two men in hospital.

A man was seriously injured when his car left the A29 Shripney Road in the town on Sunday morning (October 4), crashing into a wall.

Police said emergency services were called to the scene near the junction with Shripney Lane at 12.21am where the silver BMW 318i had rebounded to a stop in the carriageway.

The driver, a 23-year-old man from Bognor Regis, was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester for treatment to head and shoulder injuries.

A 23-year-old man, also from Bognor Regis, who was a passenger in the car, was treated in hospital for minor injuries. Both men have been discharged.

Police want to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have seen the silver BMW in the area in the time leading up to the incident.
