Woman who died of heart attack in Burgess Hill named as Jane Harman

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The woman who died in West Street, Burgess Hill, on 11 June has been identified as Jane Harman, 46, of West Street.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious but is still being investigated by the coroner’s officer.”

Police and ambulance were called to a report of a medical incident where a 46-year-old woman had suffered a heart attack in West Street, Burgess Hill, on Wednesday (June 11) at 8.04am.

A witness said they saw five police cars and three ambulances at the cemetery on West Street where all entrances were taped off and manned by officers.

They said eight emergency services parked opposite The Woolpack on Howard Avenue, and a group of about ten people in uniforms were standing around something in the cemetery.
