Worthing and Chichester court results

THE FOLLOWING are court results for Chichester and Worthing magistrates’ courts from August 3 to 7.

Adam Russell, 33, of Mourant Drive, Middleton on Sea, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after admitting failing to provide a specimen of breath when required at Chichester on August 28, 2014; driving while disqualified in Hazel Road, Bognor Regis, on August 27, 2014; and failing to stop after an accident. He must carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work, pay £80 victim surcharge and £750 costs, and was disqualified from driving for three years. He also admitted driving without insurance, no separate penalty.

Drew Collis, 18, of Highland Avenue, Bognor Regis, was given a restraining order and fined £100 after admitting harassment. He must pay £20 victim surcharge and £80 costs.

Brandon Burns, 20, of Gospond Road, Barnham, was discharged conditionally for six months after admitting using threatening words or behaviour in Barnham on February 17, 2015. He must pay £15 victim surcharge, £80 costs.

Christopher Cox, 31, of Lucking Lane, Middleton on Sea, was fined £440 and must pay £44 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (43mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Lyminster Road, Littlehampton, on July 17, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Rory Dunstall, 26, of Queen Street, Arundel, was fined £110 after admitting drug-driving (3.5mg of Delta-9-THC drug per litre of blood) in Littlehampton on May 29, 2015. He must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Rebecca Griffiths, 29, of Linden Road, Bognor Regis, was given a community order and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, after admitting racially aggravated common assault in Bognor on July 18, 2015.

Lisa Harris, 40, of Westward House, Fisbourne Road East, Chichester, was discharged conditionally for 12 months after admitting possessing an offensive weapon (knife) in St Martin’s Street, Chichester, on July 17, 2015. She must pay £15 victim surcharge and £150 criminal courts charge.

Andrzej Karendal, 50, of Woodland Villas, Fontwell Avenue, Eastergate, was given a community order and must carry out 200 hours’ unpaid work after admitting drink-driving (131mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) on the A27 in Chichester on July 18, 2015. He must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, and was disqualified from driving for 30 months.

Janetta Field, 77, of Viking Way, Bosham, was fined £240 and must pay £24 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (52mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in High Street, Bosham, on July 6, 2015. She was fined a further £240 and must pay £85 costs after admitting drink-driving (58mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Mill Stream Hotel car park, Moreton Road, Bosham, on July 9, 2015. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Zack Hutton, 23, of Sparshott Road, Selsey, was fined £85 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, after admitting possessing 8.07g of cannabis.

Stephen Roby, 32, of Firs Avenue, Bognor Regis, was discharged conditionally for six months after admitting using threatening words or behaviour in Bognor Regis on July 18, 2015. He was also fined £85 and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Louis Taylor, 23, of Sycamore Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £110 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, after admitting possessing heroin.

Dayne Ashard, 46, of Nelson Court, Church Road, Chichester, was given a community order and must carry out 50 hours’ unpaid work after admitting failing to provide a specimen of breath when required on the B2145 Sidlesham on July 2, 2015. He must also pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, and was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Carl Dempsey, 21, of Baxendale Road, Chichester, was fined £160 and must pay £50 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £400 costs, after admitting assault by beating in West Street, Chichester, on February 2, 2015. He was also fined £160 and must pay £50 compensation after admitting a second charge of assault by beating in West Street, Chichester, on February 2, 2015.

Dariusz Ciesla, 42, of Imperial Court, Victoria Drive, Bognor Regis, was fined £600 after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by police on October 3, 2014. He was fined a further £600 and told to pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by police on September 29, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

Elena Flynn, 31, of Highfield Gardens, Bognor Regis, was fined £80 and must pay £20 victim surcharge after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit on the A283 Northchapel on January 19, 2015. Her driving record was endorsed with four points.

James Madgwick, 30, of Bognor Road, Chichester, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving without insurance on the A259 in Bognor Regis on March 15, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Crawford Winkworth, 38, of Birdham Road, Chichester, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving without insurance in Bognor Road, Chichester, on March 3, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Marcus Day, 19, of Common View, Stedham, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by police in Chichester on October 24, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

Kevin Discombe, 46, of Hay Road, Chichester, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by police in Shoreham on April 28, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Thomas Doel, 45, of Langton Close, Selsey, was fined £85 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on August 27, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

Kamila Gorzelak, 25, of Markfield, Bognor Regis, was fined £165 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving over the 60mph speed limit on the A24 in Dial Post on January 31, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Kamil Bednarczuk, 28, of Berghestede Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £210 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (79mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) inWophams Lance, Chichester, on May 30, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Jordon Kennett, 35, of Hedge End, Barnham, was fined £235 and must pay £23 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting disorderly behaviour while drink in East Street, Chichester, on July 21, 2015.

Alan Pollard, 37, of Bell Lane, Birdham, was fined £65 and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after admitting failing to deliver the registration document details as required on transfer of a vehicle.
