Two readers recently stated they had not received an expected reply from Andrew Tyrie.
This surprised me very much, as I always receive an acknowledgement, should that be appropriate, and/or a reply, either from him, his secretary on his behalf, or from a relevant minister.
Mr Tyrie may not always give the reply one wants to hear, but in my opinion he is exceedingly conscientious in his dealings with his constituents.
Perhaps it is a pity if these correspondents did not check first with Mr Tyrie as to the reason for his silence before going into print.
