Is it democracy that allows councillors voting at the A27 meeting on Option 2 last week to be exempted from declaring their interests for one day only by the CDC presiding officer?
What proportion of councillors live in the north of Chichester?
Voting not to revisit the reasons the northern option for the A27 was mysteriously taken off the agenda by Highways England two weeks before A27 options were published.
Then of course vote for Option 2, without a thought for those south of Chichester.
It would be helpful if a list of the councillors was published and how they voted for everybody to view in a democracy.
Why did the CDC allow this special exemption for one day only?
What unforeseen pressure is being used? By whom? To gain what?
