All-star cricketers stunned by Priory

A FOUR figure crowd savoured an afternoon that will live long in the memory when cricket's answer to the Harlem Globetrotters - the Lashings World XI - graced Hastings on Tuesday.

Not only did they enjoy marvellous weather and first class organisation, but also a classic match which saw Hastings Priory cause a massive upset.

The Sussex Premier League champions of the last two seasons sneaked home by one wicket when the last pair of Tim Eldridge and Mick Glazier scampered a bye off the final ball of an enthralling game.
