Anglers invited to annual memorial match in Sussex

The draw will take place at 8am, with fishing starting at 10am and ending at 3pm with the weigh-in to follow.

Entry tickets are £15 each, with the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support’s Midhurst branch.

The trophy was set up more than 40 years ago by the parents of Richard, a former member of the club, who tragically died of cancer at the age of 21. The club have been proud to host the match every year in his memory.

Stedham Angling Club are a small and friendly club who welcome anglers of all capabilities. It must be said the aim of the club remains the same as the day it was formed - to give members the opportunity of enjoying their chosen sport in beautiful countryside which, to quote the club’s motto, is ‘Nulli Secundus’ (second to none).
