Bognor boxer's big pro date is delayed
LIAM GRIFFITHS will have to wait to make his professional boxing debut as this Saturday's show at the Brighton Centre has been postponed.
The disappointed Bognor fighter said: “One of the lads in the main bout of the night fractured his hand and had to withdraw.
“It’s frustrating because there had been enormous interest in my debut. I was very grateful for the support, but these things happen.
“The show has been put back until Saturday, September 10 and after a very short break I’m back in training at VK’s Gym in Bognor in case I get the chance to go on a show somewhere before then.”
