Haddow Electrical will set up the lighting that will give the event a glitzy and professional feel as boxers entertain crowds and raise money for a variety of good local cuases.

See Gerry Lavelle talking about the show in our video interview, above

There is a 13-card bill for the punters to savour.

There are two female contests – one junior and one senior – involving host club boxers Holly Heffron and Joh Wilton. There will be junior contests involving brothers Freddie and Dennis Hayes displaying their sweet science, followed by a youth contest with the ever-improving Shawn Thompson.

Two Senior St Gerards boxers follow, with Russel Smith making his debut and Chris James, aka The Flamboyant One, making his ring comeback after two years.

After the intrerval, Billy Lavelle returns to the mix with a welterweight contest against a worthy opponent from Legacy ABC – this should be a cracker with Lavelle on form and training hard.

A neutral contest between two Sussex middlewights is followed by four Southern Counties championship belts finals at light-welter, welterweight, middleweight and light-heavyweight all contested over three three-minute rounds.
