This year a novice section was introduced for those having recently joined the club. These children held their nerve in their first competitive tournament, compleating a ten-bounce routine with control, height and style.

The juniors (under-11s) excelled with many competitors producing seven somersaults in a ten-bounce routine with accuracy and precision. Having the British No2 in this age group raised standards and expectations dramatically and the audience were astounded by an exhibition of immense talent.

Just when spectators thought the level of difficulty couldn’t get higher, the senior squad brought them to their feet with participants who this year have finished third, 14th and 21st in GB competition. Many are on the brink of national level, producing wonderful routines.

The coaches are extremely proud of their squad - not only for their talent but for their dedication and determination to have fun, with huge team spirit.

This showed when they, along with the children from the audience, hit the floor with some great dancing to end a wonderful day
