Winchester were the first up and Chichester started with lovely running play and solid defence, running out 2-0 winners. Petersfield faced Chichester next and Chichester won 2-0 again.

Farnborough were next up and Chichester were caught on the break to concede their one and only try. This seemed to get up Chichester’s noses and they fought back to win 2-1.

After this slight scare Chichester coach Leon Walker gave the boys an inspirational talk to take them into the final game of the pool and hammer home their unbeaten record.

Tottonians B were the final opposition and from the whistle Chichester bombarded their line with fabulous running play and the tries started flying in. It ended 6-0 to put Chichester into the cup triangular final.

Chichester faced Tottonians A first and came out full of energy and determination. A tremendous 6-0 victory gave Chi the fire to go into the final unbeaten.

Hosts Gosport and Fareham were the opposition for the final game and both teams were in determined spirit.

Led by captain Jack McCulloch, Chichester forced Gosport and Fareham back on to their own try line and ran in a fantastic two tries in the first half.

Gosport never got past the halfway point on the pitch as Chichester dominated. A further try in the second half saw Chichester 3-0 winners for a fantastic unbeaten day of rugby.
