Salthill celebrated their open day at their Fishbourne HQ with another win in regional three south east of the Hampshire League.
Denmead II elected to bat on a drying wicket and Court and Heather opened the bowling.
Heather, in his first over, had Charlton caught sharply by Jack Holder in the slips for nought. Heather struck, having Cook caught by King, again in the slips.
Josh Holder had Grove caught behind by keeper Richardson. Ruewell was the pick of the bowlers, though, first having Skeggs caught in the slips by Court and soon taking the wickets of Scott and Knight - leaving the score on 64 for six.
Catches started to go down, allowing Reeves and Wilson to put on 50. The partnership was broken with Grant smartly stumped for 39 off the Jack Holder.
Denmead finished on 141 for seven and the pick of the Salthill bowlers was Graham Ruewell, finishing with five for three.
Salthill started badly with both openers falling cheaply, Richardson for 11 and Almack for nine.
Jack Holder halted the slide with a patient 38 before being bowled by Groves.
Koblintz and Court started to take control, Koblintz knocking the Denmead attack all over the ground.
Salthill won it with only three wickets down - Koblintz finishing on 59 not out and Court 15 not out, securing Salthill a valuable 22 points in their promotion challenge.
The day doubled up as Salthill’s first open day, which was a huge success. Visitors arrived to watch the Ashes and the Salthill match in the warm sunshine, enjoy the cricket teas and a barbecue and a raffle. Local businesses donated some wonderful prizes.
