Sussex versus Kent match abandoned

THE CB40 clash between Sussex and Kent at Arundel Castle today (July 16) has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The umpires called the match off after a 1.30pm inspection owing to a wet outfield caused by heavy rain over the weekend plus light rain this morning.

Both teams will take a point each from the game, with the point taking Sussex back to the top of Group C – a point clear of Warwickshire who have a game in hand.
