West Wittering pupils knock the opposition for six
West Wittering Primary School pupils have had a busy start to the sporting year. Swimming galas, cross-country running, Sportshall athletics and indoor cricket have all featured in the programme.
Children from Year 3 & 4 attended a Sportshall athletics competition at Bishop Luffa School. Four local primary schools competed and after a close-run event, West Wittering came out winners overall.
Children from Year 5 and 6 attended an indoor cricket tournament at The Regis School. There were five schools competing and the result all hinged on the last matches. They were nail-bitingly close but West Wittering ended up victorious and are now through to the semi-finals.
