Darts: The Wheatsheaf wonder is top man again

As the Bognor Friday Night League heads into the Christmas break, POW A from division two have withdrawn.

The top performance of the week – and the season to date – came from Cliff Prior (Wheatsheaf) with a 28.63 average with winning legs of 17 and 18 darts.

Other top performances came from Richard Ragless (17 & 24), Chris Gatford (18 & 24), Tim McCarthy (24 & 29), Adi Linfield (21 & 23) and Alex Norgett (25 & 25).

The highest out shot came from Chris Gatford (Chi Snooker B) with 127.

In division one, The Wheatsheaf extended their lead at the top to 21 points after scraping a win against third place BRSA.

Results: BRSA A 10 Wheatsheaf 12; Bognor Legion A 14 Chi Snooker B 10.

In division two there was no match for the Cobras - giving Royal Oak the chance to close the gap to five points.

Results: Friary C 11 Friary D 10; Royal Oak A 14 POW B 7.

In division three, Newtown SC B jumped into second place.
