Dressage display inspires at Lavant House

AN impressive dressage display by Mark Watkinson recently showed staff and members at Lavant House Stables, near Chichester, how it should be done with his Prix St George dressage stallion, Weserstar.

Lavant House Stables is undergoing a number of changes in order to continue to improve the services it offers and Mark is the latest addition to a number of new staff at the stables.

Mark started riding at the age of 15 after he was inspired when watching a dressage competition with a friend. He is now hoping to inspire the many riders at Lavant House Stables through his instruction.

After completing an HND in Equine Studies, Mark managed various yards before deciding to pursue a riding career in dressage. He worked and rode for the twice Olympian dressage rider Jane Gregory.
