Duo take new national title
TWO of Southdown Gliding Club's most experienced and senior pilots have just won their first National Gliding Championship.
Rod Walker (70) and Brian Bateson (68) both from West Chiltington won the newly-introduced 20m (wingspan) two-seater class at the contest at Lasham airfield in Hampshire.
