FA CUP: Worthing to travel to Cambridge City

WORTHING Football Club will travel to Southern League Premier Division side Cambridge City in the FA Cup second-qualifying round on September 27.

Cambridge are 16th in the table, and Worthing joint-manager Danny Bloor said: "We wanted a home draw, but we'll go to Cambridge as the underdogs and that suits us."

Rebels progressed to meet Cambridge with an outstanding 5-1 victory over division-higher Margate on Saturday, which earned them 3,000 prize money.

Cambridge won 2-0 at home to Lowestoft Town in the first-qualifying round.

The sides last met in November 2003 when Rebels beat Cambridge in the FA Trophy. Worthing won 3-2, after extra-time, in the replay at Cambridge, after a 0-0 draw at Woodside Road.
