Fittleworth Flyers aim for a fantastic 5

RUNNERS and spectators are invited to the Fittleworth Flyers’ five-mile race on Sunday, September 6.

Offering a scenic course through country lanes and woodland bridleway paths around Fittleworth, it starts at 11.15am in Limbourne Lane. For an entry form contact the race secretary at [email protected]

The race – for ages 16 upwards – costs £5 to enter on the day. The junior race, for seven to 15s, covers a mile and costs £1 to enter. It starts at 10.30am. Spectators welcome.

Entries are limited to 450 and can be made at race headquarters at the Village Hall, School Lane, Fittleworth near Petworth (RH20 1JB) on the morning.

The Fittleworth Flyers are a long-established, friendly running club with more than 100 members from Fittleworth, Petworth, Storrington and beyond.
