Fontwell's champion jockey to be crowned for first time

One of Fontwell Park's regular sponsors, Craig Roberts (www. chancelloroftheformchecker.com) is sponsoring a Champion Fontwell Park Jockey of the Year award in 2011.

One of Fontwell Park’s regular sponsors, Craig Roberts is sponsoring a Champion Fontwell Park Jockey of the Year award in 2011.

The top three jockeys will receive cash prizes and donations to the charity of their choice.

The winning jockey will also have a race named after him (or her) in 2012.

Roberts is also sponsoring the card at Fontwell Park on Friday, January 27.

Meanwhile, Betfair have once again agreed to sponsor two Cheltenham Festival Preview events at Fontwell Park.

The first is an evening event on Tuesday, March 8, and the second is the race day the following afternoon.

Details of the prices and panel will be announced in the New Year.

Betfair will also be sponsoring the races on March 9.

There’s a ‘six pack’ admission offer available for the meeting on Sunday, February 6 – the package is £15 and includes admission to the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure, a drink, a £2 food voucher, a race day programme, a Tote discount betting voucher and a return admission voucher.
