There were strong performances from Sam Weaver alongside Eddie Montague at the back, with skipper Harry Terry snuffing out any attacks down the left ,with Jamie Thomkins doing the same down the right.

Selsey got the breakthrough after fine work from Jake Gibbs in midfield released Jensen Currurthers down the right.

He crossed for Toby Blanshard to turn and shoot and Ryan Hains got to the rebound before Luke Ayling followed up the loose ball and slotted in.

Levi Devlin, Ewan Lennox, Curruthers and Rhys Hall tackled and passed well in midfield.

After the break Blanshard and Daniel Howick were solid at the back. Joshua Jones made two outstanding saves from free-kicks.

A free-kick from Terry fell to Hains who finished with a fine lob over the Ferring keeper. MoM was Thomkins.

A new Bognor Town team has started up for this season. They are being sponsored by Reactive Insurance.
