Bognor give fans good news on season tickets
Rocks fans have been told their Nyewood Lane season-tickets will roll over to next season after the current campaign was curtailed by bosses in the wake of lockdown restrictions.
The Covid-19 pandemic meant that supporters were only able to watch three home league matches last season, having also missed a number the season before, before football was suspended and, eventually, bosses called time on the season.
Now the club have responded by allowing those with season tickets to use them afresh when the action gets under way for the 21-22 season in August.
The club's general manager Simon Cook explained: "We were blown away by the loyalty and generosity of supporters last summer who flocked to buy a record number of season tickets -- including 19 fans who purchased 10-year tickets.
"In recognising this, the club have now announced that all season tickets purchased last year for the 2020/21 season have been rolled over to cover the entire 2021/22 Isthmian League season.
“Supporters will not need to do anything as thanks to the wonders of technology, their smart new design of season tickets might state 'Season 20/21', but they will now be automatically valid for the 21/22 season. Those holding 10-year season tickets will of course have their season tickets automatically extended for a further year."
Supporters who wish to buy season tickets for the coming season will still be able to do so, and an announcement will be made when these go on sale in the summer. All admission prices for the new season will be held at last year's levels.
And Cook added: "Although it still seems a long time to wait, supporters can at last start planning for the new season. It is planned that the Isthmian League season will commence on either Saturday 7th or 14th August.
*The club's events venue Seasons will be reopening for events in line with Government guidance on May 17th and bookings for weddings, social events and Christmas parties have been boosted by the news of reopening. Call 07376 626984 to make a booking or enquiry.
