WILL Buckley has completed a transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion to Sunderland for an undisclosed fee, having agreed a three-year contract with his new club.
The 24-year-old winger, who joined Albion in 2011 for a then club-record fee, played more than 100 games for the club, scoring 19 goals.
Buckley made an instant impact as he came off the bench in the first-ever league match at the Amex to score two late goals to clinch a 2-1 win over Doncaster.
The former Rochdale and Watford man also scored a memorable FA Cup goal to knock out Newcastle United at the Amex.
Seagulls chairman Tony Bloom said, “Will gave us some great moments during his time with the club and I would like to thank him for his efforts in his time with us and wish him well for the future.”
