Chichester and Pagham kick off new season at home

Chichester City will kick off the new Sussex League season at home to AFC Uckfield.

The promoted side will visit Oaklands Way – where the clubhouse has been the subject of a long-running wrangle between the club and council – for the opening day of the season on Saturday, August 13.

Pagham, who finished last season the highest-placed of our local sides in division one, will also have a home start.

Ringmer are the visitors to Nyetimber Lane.

Ian Martin’s Selsey are due to visit Hassocks.

Most of the season’s fixtures have yet to be decided but on Boxing Day, Chichester will visit Arundel and Pagham will go to Selsey.
